I jsut have a suggestion on how to make Buddy Gopher even better. You could allow users to upload a saved buddy list and extract the buddies from that instead of adding them manually.
 

I was about to suggest the same thing ;)
 

- longer (infinite?) archival
- listing the best away msgs on internet
- blogdex-style URL ranking
- a script to 'auto-load' buddies
 

This is Scott (funguy)... You may know me better from DC.net (abreviated to prevent unnecesarry advertising)... How about a buddy recycle bin. So in the event of accidentally deleting a buddy (whom may have a name not easily remembered) that buddy can be easily recovered. It'd also be happy for those couples that get into fights, delete their partners, then re-enter them when the fight is over. Just a thought.
